This is Murray.
Murray knows the importance of providing the public with timely messages that make them aware of ways they can better care for their pets. That’s what Murray’s Messages is about. Through partnerships with local pet-friendly businesses, shelters and rescue groups, public servants, and individual volunteers, we’ve already warned hundreds of pet owners about the dangers of dogs being locked in cars in the summer heat, dogs riding unrestrained in pickup truck beds, and pets left home alone on the 4th of July. About once every 3 weeks our Murray’s Messages partners receive a new graphic to distribute to their clients, family, and friends. The graphics are sent via email are meant to be customized and reproduced at will. We encourage business owners to add their own contact information and either post a color version in a counter-top frame or on the front windows of their stores, or to make copies of the black and white version to hand out to their customers. Future graphics will include seasonal warnings (Halloween dangers and holiday concerns) as well as general pet safety and behavior issues such as spay/neuter, pet registration and vaccination, microchipping, the importance of proper training, and much, much more.
